Web 2.0 in my definition…
When first hearing the term Web 2.0 my peers seemed to understand the term more than me. When I was searching on the web I came across many articles some were very difficult to understand. But I came across a couple that defined it in a way I understood. In my opinion Web 2.0 is created by the people for the people. It’s a totally different idea of the Internet when first created. It allows people to transit information almost instantly which couldn’t even be imagined at a time. It gives you access to any piece of information in the world as fast as you can type it. For examples such as google and wikipedia and blogging. Web 2.0 is the new generation of the Internet that is growing everyday.
What PLE means to me…
PLE which stands for Personal Learning Environment. In my definition it somewhat eliminates the teacher student concept of learning. It’s a type of learning when students teach themselves at their on pace. Also gathering information from other students to gain knowledge from one another

After researching the term Web 2.0 the first time I realized I had no clue what it meant and it scared me that this topic was so essential to my major and i had no idea what it meant. After discussing it within a group of my peers the term Web 2.0 and PLE connected for me. Web 2.0 is a system of bloggers and a resource to get information in a totally different way. People who’ve actually lived and experienced some of the problems you may have and write information about it. Also it’s a social connection.
