When first hearing the term Web 2.0 my peers seemed to understand the term more than me. When I was searching on the web I came across many articles some were very difficult to understand. But I came across a couple that defined it in a way I understood. In my opinion Web 2.0 is created by the people for the people. It’s a totally different idea of the Internet when first created. It allows people to transit information almost instantly which couldn’t even be imagined at a time. It gives you access to any piece of information in the world as fast as you can type it. For examples such as google and wikipedia and blogging. Web 2.0 is the new generation of the Internet that is growing everyday.

I myself never really knew about the web 2.0 terms , and alot of what goes into the web 2.0. I have allwas used google, and wikipedia. I hope to gain alot more in the course of our studdies, and maybe by the end we can both understand alot more about web 2.0 and the impact on the world as well as ourself. I believe that web 2.0 is an upgrade from what we all use to use, I mean now you can instant message, go onto the web and search for anything you like, buy things from the net, or even just talk to your friends, through email. Im sure we will learn alot more in the course of our studies, and by the end maybe one of us will come up with something that will help us more in web 2.0 and understandings.
